RisingSun Charities Organization is a non-profit organization in Newark, New Jersey, that represents over 70 million Biafrans who are suffering from genocide and extermination. We advocate for the salvation of our fellow Biafrans and to free them from the cruelty and hardship of their current situation.

Biafra is a secessionist western African state that unilaterally declared its independence from Nigeria in May 1967. It constituted the former Eastern Region of Nigeria and was inhabited principally by Igbo (Ibo) people. Biafra ceased to exist as an independent state in January 1970.

Our goal is to advocate for advocacy & human rights as part of the indigenous people of Biafra residing in the United States of America. Since the amalgamation in 1914, our efforts and peaceful agitation to free ourselves from the collaborative clutch, bondage, and subjugation by colonial Britain and then the Islamic Fulani oligarchy have resulted in a routine pogrom, ethnic cleansing, and genocide against our people since 1945.

Thousands of Biafrans are injured and waiting for medical attention. Numerous deaths await proper burial, and many more are in illegal detention in jails all over the country, waiting for bail and other litigation assistance. Despite the hardships, we continue to fight for the restoration of Biafra.
