Providing Basic Needs for Children in Biafra

War only brings pain and suffering to the innocent, especially the children who still have a lot of opportunities waiting for them. Today, countless Biafran children live this reality. The conflict has brought damage and destruction to schools, hospitals, and homes, leaving little to no resources for shelter and security. This problem is why our social services exist right now.

RisingSun Charities Organization is a non-profit organization in Newark, New Jersey, that aims to advocate for the people of Biafra, especially the youth.

According to a news article, a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja adjourned the hearing on the suit filed by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) seeking a Biafra referendum to determine the fate of Biafra and other self-determination agitations to January 27, 2023. This statement alone tells us that the fate of Biafra is still shaky, leaving little hope for the children of Biafra.
